A doctor on call is a physician available outside fixed clinic hours who travels to the patient. Instead of waiting for a clinic to open, you call or message, describe the problem, and a doctor is dispatched to your address.

How much is a doctor on call in Singapore?
Flat fees by time of day: $300 during office hours (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm) and $450 after hours — weekday evenings and nights, weekends and public holidays. That covers a 30-minute consultation; longer visits are +$120 per additional 30 minutes during office hours and +$150 after hours, with procedures and medication itemised separately. Can the on-call doctor prescribe medication at home?
Yes. The visiting doctor carries common medications and dispenses them on the spot where appropriate, and can issue prescriptions, MCs and referral letters where the assessment supports them.
Is a doctor on call on Sundays and public holidays?
Yes. The service runs 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including Sundays and public holidays. Those hours fall under the single after-hours rate of $450.
Do I need to be an existing patient to call?
No. There is no membership and no registration to complete in advance — you can call or message for the first time on the night you need a doctor.
Is there a 24-hour doctor in Singapore who does home visits?
Yes. We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and the doctor comes to your home rather than you travelling to a clinic. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm at $300; everything outside that is $450.
Is there a doctor available after clinic hours in Singapore?
Yes. Our home-visit doctors work through the night, on weekends and on public holidays. When GP clinics are closed, a doctor comes to you instead — the same assessment, treatment and paperwork, at your address.
When should I go to A&E instead of calling an after-hours doctor?

Can you see a child after hours?
Yes, and children are a large part of after-hours calls. The one fixed exception is a baby under 3 months with a fever: that needs a children's emergency department, not a home visit, because fever at that age requires blood and urine tests that cannot be done in a home. For any baby under 3 months, call us before booking and we will tell you honestly whether a visit is appropriate.
