CBD & Sentosa

House call doctor in CBD & Sentosa

A doctor to your apartment, hotel or office in the CBD, Tanjong Pagar, Marina Bay and Sentosa — including Sentosa Cove, any hour.

Visiting this area

A district that works late.

The CBD and Marina Bay are a mix of high-rise residences, hotels and offices, and the pattern of calls reflects the hours the district keeps. A large share come after 8pm and on weekends, from residents who work hours that make a daytime clinic appointment impractical, and from hotel guests who have arrived unwell.

Sentosa and Sentosa Cove sit apart from this — residential, quieter, and with an access profile all of their own (see below).

If hospital care is needed

Where we escalate to from here.

Singapore General Hospital in Outram is the nearest public emergency department to the CBD and Sentosa, and is a short drive from most of the district. Raffles Hospital near Bugis is the closest private hospital with 24-hour emergency services.

Where a case needs hospital care, the doctor arranges the referral and briefs the receiving team so you are not starting from scratch at triage.

Getting to the patient

Access notes for CBD & Sentosa.

Sentosa access. Vehicles enter via the Sentosa Gateway and are subject to the island's tolling and access arrangements; Sentosa Cove adds a second security checkpoint at the residential estate. Please give us the house or unit number and the resident's name at booking — without it, the guardhouse will not release the visit, and that is the single biggest source of delay on the island.

CBD residences. Most towers require visitor registration at the lobby. Telling concierge that a doctor is expected, and giving us the tower and unit number, keeps arrival smooth.

Offices. We do attend workplaces. Building security usually needs the company name and a contact who can meet the doctor at the lift lobby.

Who calls us here

Common reasons in this area.

Typical presentations here are acute and adult: respiratory and stomach infections, migraines, back pain, urinary symptoms, and dehydration — often in people who have been putting off getting seen. We also handle a steady volume of hotel guests with travel-related illness who need assessment, medication and documentation before flying.

Sentosa Cove skews residential and family, including elderly residents and children, with a correspondingly different mix of calls.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Do you visit Sentosa Cove?

Yes. Sentosa Cove has a security checkpoint in addition to the island gateway, so please give us the house or unit number and the resident's name when booking — the guardhouse will not release the visit without it.

Can a doctor come to my office in the CBD?

Yes. Workplace visits are routine. Building security usually needs the company name and someone who can meet the doctor at the lift lobby.

Which hospital would you refer me to from the CBD?

Singapore General Hospital in Outram is the nearest public emergency department; Raffles Hospital near Bugis is the closest private hospital with 24-hour emergency services.

Do you charge extra to visit Sentosa?

No. Fees are flat by time of day across Singapore rather than by location. Any island tolls are absorbed — the fee quoted at booking is what you pay.
